Writing Improvements

This semester in my writing class has been very helpful. I have learned how to properly cite sources as well as how to research my topic and use APA formatting. I found that using different strategies to start my draft gave me the opportunity to see where I was going with my ideas as well as come up with better ideas. The peer review was helpful as well; giving me some good feed back and ideas on how to improve my paper. I lost a lot of points on my finial paper because of punctuation and some of the citation; so the areas I think I need improvement would be my citation, reference page and punctuation.

My feelings about writing

Well up until this point I did not know all the steps that went with the writing process. I did take comp 1 and the instructor was great but comp 2 is more detailed and in my opinion stressful. I found myself making a lot of mistakes with apa, I use the sources that are available to me as a student. I really love the instructor this term because she made it easy to get my finial paper done. She gave me some good feed back on my draft and I feel really good about my final paper. My feelings about writing is that I know I will need it sooner or later in my career and when the time comes I will know all the steps necessary to get the job done.
